Describe in 2 sentences who you are and what you do.
I am a viola player, mostly dedicating myself to contemporary music. At the moment I am finishing my studies in Amsterdam.
Is there something you particularly like about the Kollektiv?
That it is important to everyone not to drift into habits and that each single person is taken serious exactly as he/she is.
What would you do now if you hadn’t studied music?
Maybe I would have studied German language and literature. I love the language and would like to have greater knowledge about it to be able to understand and use it in different ways.
If you could choose: blind or deaf? And why?
Deaf, for practical reasons. I imagine it would be complicated to live an independent life without seeing anything.
Which groundbreaking invention would make your life just a bit better?
A machine that does all the things for me that i don’t want to do.
Describe a typical day off.
A little time alone, a little time with friends. Drinking coffee, going for a walk, maybe a games night with wine.
What’s your favorite animal and why?
Some sort of giant bird. It can glide, see far, and move in three dimensions.
If you’d write a book, what would it be about?
A fantasy novel. With dragons, magic and adventures.
What’s your favorite sound or noise?
Rain in the forest.
If your instrument would be your flatmate, what would you tell him or her?
That we meet to talk things out.
