Describe in 2 sentences who you are and what you do.

Differentiating between who I am and what I do wouldn’t work most of the time – I play and write music and,in cooperation with others, try to open up spaces that encourage new experiences.

Is there something you particularly like about the Kollektiv?

The Kollektiv consists of people that share the passion for creating spaces and it gives me the chance to learn how to deal with complex group communication.

What would you do now if you hadn’t studied music?

Back then I thought about studying philosophy and maybe producing techno-tracks in my basement.

If you could choose: blind or deaf? And why?

I imagine cinema would suck hard like that.

Which groundbreaking invention would make your life just a bit better?

An alarm that calculates the time I have to get up to be on time, based on the distance to my destination, current traffic situation, urge for breakfast and lateness tolerance of my appointment.

Describe a typical day off.

Sleeping in, having some coffee, maybe going to the movies and meeting up with some friends in the evening.

What’s your favorite animal and why?

Turtles, I guess. They have such a different approach to life than me.

If you’d write a book, what would it be about?

Probably it would be about an abstracted version of myself.

What’s your favorite sound or noise?

Wwwwwwww (very, very low pitch).

If your instrument would be your flatmate, what would you tell him or her?

I would love to go back to crazy experiments in the kitchen with you again.

Where would you go for composing music, if you could choose?

In a dimension without time pressure.
